What is Creasing?
Creasing is where the paper fibres are weakened along the fold line to avoid cracking when folding. This is particualrly important when there are printed areas running through the fold as it avoids the print cracking when folded. We use the highest quality matrix style creasing which gives a better finish than scoring.

Concertina Brochure Printing
Concertina brochures are one of the most enduringly popular styles. As with our other styles, our concertina brochures are available in two sizes: the standard A4 size, which measures 210mm x 297mm when opened flat or in the larger A3 size which measures 297mm x 420mm.
Two creases are added to create three sections, which fold out like an accordion or concertina (hence the name!). We use a high quality matrix style creasing technique where the paper fibres are weakened along the fold. Unlike scoring, this prevents cracking in the printing along the fold lines, making our concertina brochures ideal for displaying one large image which runs across all three sections.
Concertina brochure printing allows you to take A3 sized amount of content and fold it into a slim leaflet which can fit into your pocket or handbag, and through any letterbox. Maximise your space by printing on the front and back of each section. We can even design your brochure for you with prices starting from just £60 for a double sided A4.
Simply choose your size, and the sort of paper you would like. We stock gloss and silk papers in 170gsm, 250gsm or 300gsm uncoated card. Matt or gloss laminate finishes are available on request, and we can also vary the shapes and sizes of the brochures according to your needs.
