What is Creasing?
Creasing is where the paper fibres are weakened along the fold line to avoid cracking when folding. This is particualrly important when there are printed areas running through the fold as it avoids the print cracking when folded. We use the highest quality matrix style creasing which gives a better finish than scoring.

Gate Fold Brochures
A gate fold brochure offers a new way to promote your business or event, adding interest to a standard flyer or leaflet.
Gate fold brochures come in two sizes: the standard A4 (210mm x 297mm) and the larger A3 (297mm x 420mm). Two creases are added at equal distances horizontally along the sheet, creating two flaps which can be folded out to reveal a central section in the middle.
With a gate fold brochure, you can really maximise the amount of space available to you by treating each of the three sections as a new page, with new information. For even more exposure, don't forget to add text and artwork to the back of the brochure as well, essentially giving you six complete sections to work with. This is a versatile style which is ideal for menus or documents which feature lists or columns.
The gate fold style is also ideal for displaying large images such as maps, without taking up too much space. We use a technique of creasing which weakens the paper fibres along the fold line to avoid the appearance of cracks in the printed text or images.
Simply choose the size of brochure you want, and the quality of the paper. We offer gloss and silk finishes, in 170gsm, 250gsm and 300gsm card. Matt and laminate finishes are available on request.
